Hi, there. I’m Lynzie, and I’m a lot of things besides a mother but that is definitely what I have been doing the longest (and what I love best). Other than writing, of course. I can’t quite remember a time when I wasn’t writing something.
These days, I live in San Diego. I make things every single day, partly because it is my job, but mostly because it is what I love to do. I am always trying new things and I make a lot of messes, but I try my best to learn from the process and to clean up after myself.
This blog, like it’s author, is a constant work in progress. It has been inconsistently maintained for close to a decade and has experienced numerous transitions over the years. It’s filled to the brim with nonsense, the kind only a nostalgic gal with itchy fingers and a determination to preserve the little things could conjure. In the end, it’s all just an elaborate love letter to my family and our many adventures and I really wouldn’t have it any other way.
In January 2020, I began to sell some of my handmade goods. Unless stated otherwise, all content is my own and produced specifically for this blog. Currently, there are no affiliate links to mention, but I’ll keep you posted if that changes. I’m open to collaboration, or to friendly conversation – please email hello@handmademother.com to get in touch.
